i own 04 coupe, and does not have bose sound system,,,

i think i blew one of my speaker, so i want to upgrade to bose speakers and amp...

since i dont have bose sound system, do i have to make space for the amp?
or do i have already????

and i want to know what kinds of speakers i get...like size

someoneo told me i get 4 6" speakers and 2 tweeters

and somebody told me i need to get 2 6.5" speakers
and 2 6x9" speakers on the back..

so i got confused...

can anybody give me some detiails for the system???

and is that hard to change to both speakers and amp???

i would recommend you get some different speakers and an aftermarket amp

Not many people would consider the Bose system an upgrade. The wiring is completely different as is the head unit.

Just add a new amp and replace the stock speakers with some nice 4 ohm speakers of your choice, and keep the stock HU. You will have much better sound. Add a sub if you want as well.

Your car doesn't have 6x9s in the rear deck. Only the Bose cars do.

Get some 6.5 inch components up front and maybe some 6.5 inch coaxials for the rear sides. Replacing the rear side speakers in optional IMO.

 

which are some decent good priced speakers and amp???

There are so many and the choice also depends on your budget. Where are you going to buy them? Talk to someone at that place.
