I have an 03.5 G35 with Bose and I recently got an Escort 8500 X50 and when ever I have it on and listening to a FM station (not too often as I have XM) it makes the reception poor and gives me a lot of static. When I shut the Escort off the reception is fine. Anyone else have this problem? Does it have to do with the powered antenna being in the window? I did a search and couldn't find anything. I appreciate the help!

The antenna is in the rear window.

Call Escort and see if you need to send your radar detector in for some work - hopefully under warranty.
