Installed PA11-NIS, have important tips for newbs

Hey guys I just installed my PA11-NIS. I have never done anything Audio/Video wise to my car so I was a total newb. But I have a few very good tips for the install. I used

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...light=pa11-nis

and this

https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-diy/90507-diy-06-hu-removall.html

as the basis for my install. Props go to Real_G and bradakrez w/o these it wouldve sucked to do the install. Total install from start to finish took 2 hours, I literally couldve done it in 1 hour had I been able to fix my issue.

My only issue with the install was putting the head unit back in, make sure you store the actual PA11-NIS unit along with the thick cables out of the way of the back of the head unit. If there is any more slack from the unit the HU will not go back in flush. Here is where i stored my PA11 and all the extra slack from the cables. Great spot, located between the gear box and below the HU.

Pic 1 - Good spot for unit

Pic 2 - Minor injury putting HU back haha

Pic 3 - Great Success! (borat voice)

Sorry for the lopsided pics, stupid imageshack, and crappy quality via iPhone
