What $8,000 will do to the ride!

Sorry for the big pics!! Well, mostly it is invested in the wheels/tires and of course the stereo. Quick Breakdown: Focal, PK2's. (Doors) Focal, PolyGlass-Slims (Rear). Eclipse HU (8443). EQ. JL 500/1 and 450/4. 2 Hooker Caps. 12" w6v2. All Hooker Wiring. 6 x9 were yanked to help vent the sub into the "cabin". Wheels are 20" Iforged - Flux (Silver Painted). So-3 Bridgestones. Mod's on the cars (JWT - POP, Z-Tube, GroundGear, Nismo Caps, Borla TD; Momo shift **** coming in today!). I took the plexi glass of the caps and the amps for better detail.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet setup cloud! $8000 though.....damn! Mine cost total $2K, I would have taken the extra $6K and spent it on upgrading my home theater! lol

Did you figure out the AC issue yet?!?!?

Nice work though, very pro/stealth install.

Very classy. Can you please go snap some more pictures=). Outside, inside, leftside, rightside, upside, downside etc. More pictures of the trunk too if possible. And um can you make um smaller? its difficult to see that big. Hmm somehow my post sounded like I was complaining but I really just wanted to see more pictures because I like what I have seen so far.

Cloudkid,

That's an awesome install. You put those 8K into very good use, IMHO. I notice you have the double-din dash with navi....I'm looking to get the double-din (b/c even with all my components, I think the stock HU is hindering a lot of SQ), but didnt want to lose the the integrated navi/steering wheel fxns. Is your navi still integrated?

Re: What $8,000 will do to the ride!

Thanks guys... the other 4,000 was for my wheels and tires.. So this set up with labor, etc was about 4,000. not 8. that included my wheels/tires. If you have any questions just let me know! Yes.. we integrated the factory navigation to a seperate speaker and works great. I am fixing to put an eclipse DVD in it. TOTAL install with Labor was about 4g's. I will work on the other pics next week, but these show great detail. Joe, finally found out the it was a sensor unplugged for the A/C controller. Arfter fixed, works good as new. I can show a pic of my car if you like soon. With the Iforged and engine mods. Just let me know. I could have not done all of this without all of you guys. Thanks again.. cloud_kid

Re: What $4000 will do forf the ride

RX Sedan - You can buy a SWI - Contoller that will keep your factory steering wheels controls for you. I have my installed. *did a tiny* led beside the left cigarette lighter. I had to keep the steering wheel control for sure!

EuroG35:, I ran all Hooker Wiring (4 Gauge) and the RCA are all Hooker Audio. I have posted a pic in the Wheel/Tire forum under the Silver Cars if you want to see it with my rims.

does the $4,000 you spent include the cost of the actual equipment? How much was the install alone? Looks great man. Glad to see you finished your system.

Yea.. That is everything including labor, the box, vinyls, plexi glass, wiring, amps/subs/hu, dynomat, caps, everything! Thanks for the compliment. We worked hard for about 2 weeks.

Re: What $4000 will do forf the ride

You mentioned something about the SWI-X beside the cigarette lighter?? I have one already and I'm going to put it in mine, once I get my Alpine mp3/CD deck... it's the AWESOME new one that just came out - CDA-9835... anyway, doesn't the LED from the SWI-X have to be able to "see" the face of the deck for the wheel controls to work? just curious. I'm looking for the best place to mount the little blue LED from the SWI-X.

thanks - and great looking system, G.
