Firstoff i wanted to say I just got my 07 coupe a couple days ago and I love it so far. I wanted to look into a good radar detector. I know all about the v1's but there just to expensive I belive. So I am looking for something good 200$ and under. Also I dont have the bose sound system and was wondering what brand speakers I am running now if they arent bose and if its only coming from 2 speakers in the front or is there more in the back I am missing? Last I wanted to get an indash nav/dvd where can I get the double din at, and how hard is the install on it?

and actually I am not sure if I have the bose. It doesnt say on the head-unit. How would I tell?

 

It should say Bose on the head unit and also if you look at your rear speakers right below your back mirror the speakers should say Bose on them.

 

Well mine are not bose. I have a question though wen my radio is low the sound from my left speaker is very staticty once i turn it up loud though it isnt really noticable. any ideas?

 

^ That static may be a bad radio that will be repaired under warranty.

I'm not sure about the 07's, but the 05 non-Bose speakers are made by Clarion.

There is 1 speaker and 1 tweeter up front in each of the doors and 1 speaker on each side in the rear seide panels.
