This Is The Reason Why You Need The Jdm Ac Controller
Everything else will work; but you will no longer have dual zone control. You can retrofit it, there is a thread topic about that.

One more thing I want to confirm before I buy anymore parts to make this work. So my 2006 came with nav but it didn’t work. I decided to take it out completely and got the radio frame with the glove compartment over top. What I noticed is the glove compartment has a notch that goes underneath the radio face and locks in place. I assume if I get the JDM with nav kit it’s not going to have the same notch For the glove compartment. So my question is. Is the HVAC controller the same part whether it’s with or without nav?
