cd problem

cd problem

hello i have an 04 coupe with standard bose system but since i bought the car i havent been able to put any cds in,, its like locked,, what do i need to change,,, can i just change the cd changer and remain with all my other pasrts or would that require something else

you can just get another changer and thats all. I have mine up for sale since i have DD navigation.

Are you sure you don't have CDs already in there that you need to take out? You have to load the discs. You can't just stick them into the CD slot.

the changer is erroneous,,, when i press load it does a weird noise and everything goes blank,,

try and stick an M80 into the CD slot, light it and stand back, see if the slot opens up....

It seems that your CD player has died. If there is still any warranty, hav it replaced ASAP. Otherwise, you can send it to be repaired, buy a used one, or replace it with a DD kit.
