I just paid the down payment on a viper remote start and im having the windows wired to go up and down opposed to the only going down. It's getting installed next friday anyone else have a remote start? do you like it? any problems? im excited can't wait to press the ignition from my office and get in a cool car 1 mile range!!!

 

I've got remote start on the Viper 5900. It's really helpful during peak weather conditions. In the summer, I start up the car a to get the AC running to cool it down before I get in. In the winter, I do the same to warm her up before I get in.

 

so you got the security system with it also? i would of done that just didnt have the money im going with the Viper 160XVL and keeping the stock alarm did you get your windows wired to go up?

 

i got the viper 5900 as well.. i love itt.. it's not exactly 1 mile range but it's far enough..

 

i just got a compustar pro 2, i dont feel like looking up the model number but its the best of the best, installed 2 days ago. thanks to all the forum members that were pumping compustar in my search results!
this thing is coooooooool.
except for when you drive home the first day and cant get out of the car at the gas station because you cant figure out why you keep setting off your own alarm : P
