Coupe window stopped half inch drop when door opens

The window on the drivers side has stopped the half inch drop when I open the door. I can hear the motor going down, but the glass does not go down. After I open the door I can push the glass down a half inch with my hand. I took it to the dealer, they said they adjusted the timing. I picked it up and they changed nothing. I took it back and they said that because when the door opens gravity pulls the window down a sixteenth of an inch that it was within specs and they would not fix it. I contacted Infiniti and they said to take it back. It is there now and the dealer says they do not know how to fix it. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong and how to fix it? Thanks in advance for the help.

Sounds like your motor needs to be replaced. And tell the guy at the dealer they are full of $hit!

Wow, that sucks that your infiniti dealer has such completely inept mechanics. It's like you went to their mommy (Infiniti corporate) and told on them and they had to take it back to fix it. Lawlz. They should just start replacing stuff until it works, it's not like they're paying for it.
