Hey, there's some odd problem with my 03 G coupe's cd player...anybody know wtf is going on?

long story short, it doesn't work.

You need to play a Blue Ray disc in it, then it'll play. If that dosen't work, try the search method. HeHe

 

Wow, you shouldn't be so specific with the problems you are having.

 

Search and you will find others with the same problem.

 

Time to visit the classifieds! When I was G35 shopping last summer, I saw two vehicles with non-functioning cd players... Notorioius for failure in 03!

 

Question 1: Do you have the key in the ignition and turned to the Accessory or On position?

 

the what? never heard of this key thing.

well, nobody has had a fix for it, they just say bring it to the stealership... it's a cd player..how complicated can it be....

Damn you all are brutal... That error is common on the g's- say goodbye to your cd's!! I wouldn't reccomend going to the dealer unless your under warranty- just buy a new head unit in the classifieds for 200 and install yourself (there is a diy floating around somewhere)- cheers!

 

Unless you are an electronics repairman, there is no fix for the CD error other than to send it out to get repaired or buy another one (new or used) unless you want to get the DD kit. You can't do something like press a reset switch to make it work again.
