I wouldn't bother with a line driver. Try replacing the BOSE amp and speakers instead.

You'll need a line out converter (link) to interface the headunit with the new amp.

Yea. The line driver will be insignificant with the stock equipment. The other upgrades mentioned would be better options.

You may need a line-level converter, depending on your amp.
My Precision Power amp will handle (and does handle) speaker-level inputs. I'm really happy with my setup now.
