Anyone know of an FAQ or DIY that will help me install an Optima in my trunk? whether i necc need to pair it with another Optima in the engine bay? or if a dual setup is even necc.

I am trying to eliminate headlight blinking every time my sub hits.

 

A dual setup will not help dimming headlights. That's all related to your alternator and your grounding system.

If you decide to run a dual setup you need matched up batteries or use an isolator. There are people that believe in isolators and others that don't. Those that don't say you have to use the same batteries with the same age. Basically purchasing both at the same time.

You can find some good info on www.the12volt.com . Just like any other forum, do a search before you post. I've gotten a lot of info there and I've never had to post to get it.
