I am looking at an 05 G35x with the wood package and I will probably want to install a double din HU down the road. Is the JDM DD finisher available in woodgrain? If not, any ideas how I could get a double din in a woodgrain-equipped car and have it look decent?

 

I have not seen the V35 dash in wood grain.

 

JDM DD dash finishers only come in Titanium. There used to be a BLACK dash finisher which would not have matched the US dash color schemes for the G.

At one time, there were questions whether or not there was a JDM DD dash trim finisher in the WILLOW color that the 03-04 models had options for. But after emailing Yoshi at J's Garage in Japan back in 2005, he said that there were only Titanium and Black colors for the JDM DD dash finishers.

Thanks, i guess i'll have to make the titanium finisher work if I eventually do want to go with a DD.

 

Yea I'm on the same boat, im sick and tired of the stock HU and am dying to upgrade, and yes, i have the Woodgrain (Rosewood?) interior package....

Does anyone know if maybe a high quality vinyl/plastic/sticker type thing is available?

 

So is the black interior dash jdm? Because that's what my car has. The dash & middle console is ALL black. I've been looking for a black DD replacement but they seem scarce. I don't want to use the titanium & mix the colors. The all black dash seems uncommon since my friends didnt believe me & thought it had to be painted until they saw it.
