It's a new model ,the NE-774V 4 channel LOC to run with my Alpine V12 amp. I'm getting my car audio installed at the local shop on Saturday. Is there any recommendations they need to take into consideration when hooking all my old gear up..

Also.. will dynamat make a real difference? I'm under the impression the padding in the doors is pretty solid to begin with (I'm coming from a Sentra which totally had none, lol)

i installed the dynamat myself. it make a big difference in that the door is heavier. also it sound more solid when you close the door. Lastly, when u knock on the door, it feel like a rock.

It depends, you really have to compare a system with dynamat and without dynamat. Usually dynamat helps reduce road noise and rattles, making you hear just the music. Since we're driving a luxuary car, the materials may be better. Let me know how the LOC sound with the stock deck. I'm looking into this setup.

I'm sure sound deadening will help. The G is actually pretty noisy as fas as road noise is concerned. When I first got my car I couldn't believe how much road noise I could hear, got used to it though, now I don't even notice it. But even in my Lexus which is a damn quiet car, I did a full sound deadending job and the noise levels dropped, so it's bound to help the G.

 

Well my Navone LOC came today (lightning fast shipment.. only two days from Cali to Florida!) and it looks REALLY nice.. you can tell it's a well put together piece of equipment, and the instructions appear very concise and explain everything very well. I'd post pics on here.. but I don't know how to do it on this forum type.)

its easy to post pics. first you have to compress it to under 100kb. if you resize them the 640x480 then that will do the trick. Or you could just take them at this resolution. then when you post simply hit the botton to preview and/or attach a file and pick it from your hard drive, thats it.
