Looks great! Did you have to make a trim panel for it or just cut the existing hole that was there? If you made one, what paint did you use to match the brownish interior color?

I wish my XBox would fit there. :-(

 

i feel like i start all my posts the same way (i don't have my G yet, but would love to do this as soon as i get it)

Anyways, my car is going to have NAV so there will be a DVD drive in this location.... I was wondering if the wiring harnesses of the Nav DVD were long enough to reach down into the regular glove box so that i could do a PS2 install in the upper area like this.

also, did you have to mod the PS2 to fit in there?

Or, maybe i could just bury the Nav drive somewhere inside the dash?

you don't exacty need to be able to access it on a regular basis

i dont know anything about moving the nav i dont have it so i dont know but yes to put the ps2 in there u have to mod it i made it about half the size it should be it takes some soldering skilles

 

Looks GREAT! So your you removed the housing completly from the PS2? Did you cut the back of the compartment for heat disapation?

the back of what compartment i took the compartment that was in there out and made my own out of the ps2 just mouning that strat to the dash peas that u can see and finishing it with some plstic that came for the case of the ps2
i basically make a new compartment out of the top section of the ps2 but aftorwards i think it would have been easyer to cut the existing compartmet to make the components fit in it and just mount the front of the ps2 to that to finish it off

 

Do you think I can put a 10.8in width x 7.3in Depth x 1.4in Hieght processor in the upper glove box?

you have the room for the 10.5 and for the 1.4 but i dont know bout the 7.3 in deep if you removed the box that is in there and maby angled it you might fit it but any way u look at it anthing over 6.5 would be hard to fit but good luck if u try what are u going to try and put a computer in there or y mount that in there

 

helpful suggestion - buy an avn or N1 and forget about the box - or are you talking about a different processor?
