Sucks to see that this is such a common problem. No one successfully took this thing apart themselves? $200 is a pricey fix, would probably be more worth it to upgrade to a DD screen.
Here's the disc removal procedure:

G35 cd player stuck

For the longest time there was a CD stuck in my 2003 Infiniti G35, and out of principle, I refused to give the dealer $1000 to fix it. I did numerous searches online, and found a guy in El Monte (just east of Los Angeles) who said he could fix my CD player for $190. Holy Moly, what a find. This guy fixed my CD player, tightened up my A/C and even fixed the light on my clock for under two bills. I love the Internet. I found this guy at G35driver.com. People said he was great. His name is John Huang and his email is info@oemfactoryradio.com; he even has an eBay store: OEM Factory radio. His phone number is 626.454.1645. I highly recommend this guy. I am very particular about who touches my car, and I immediately trusted this guy. He clearly knows what he is doing.

Is there something like this in Atlanta? Can't seem to find a store that will fix a 06 cd player.

On eBay there is a guy that does repairs for a Benjamin but you have to pay for shipping both ways.

I fixed this just now on my 2015 G35 sedan 6 CD Bose by hitting the left side of cd unit quite hard with my fist a few times. Well actually I hit the plastic console since the CD unit was still installed.

This is an old thread, but maybe still helps as it comes up when searching Google.

There is no such thing as a 2015 G35 sedan, I'm guessing you have an 05. Enjoy the cds while you can, your stereo will fail completely at some point. They almost all do.
