Thank you Bing for the awesome install and for posting up pictures. I tip my hat off to Bing for the quality of work he does and for working through small issues and coming up with good resolutions. This system came out better than I imagined and sounds great. I am glad I decided to go with the grey suede to set off the black vinyl. I did not want to get crazy with glowing lights all over the place in the trunk. The result is a setup that is very tasteful and clean looking. My old setup was the perfect example of how bad a shop can screw up a system. It was pretty much hacked up everywhere. Bing worked with me and with the car to ensure that everything was returned back to stock with wiring and navi. The sound quality is very good. I am used to big bass systems with multiple speakers, but I missed having a trunk. The outcome of this setup is a system that provides a very good amound of clean bass and gives me almost all my trunk back. It was a very good compromise. Several local members have heard this setup and are amazed by the quality of Bings work. I would like to add that the door dampening alone has reduced alot of the exterior noise. I cannot believe how quiet it is now.

Eugene, my setup is pretty similar to yours but my low end has a lil more to it. Let me know when you want to listen.

I cannot recommend Bing enough for any audio setup, no matter how simple or fancy.

Nice job on the remolded 4080 Bing. I hadn't thought to do that when I installed my IDMAX in my 4080. I used 1.5" of mdf rings to space out the driver and, consequently, couldn't use the 4080 grille.

Hey Troy
Was wondering what are your settings for the EQ? Wuts the low set at? 80/100/160? Mid 500/1k/2k?
Highs 3.5k/8k/10k/12.5k? Also what Q factor for each 2W/1W/1N/2N?

Im constantly changing my EQ settings around. A little limited on the tuning capabilites on the HU tho. arggh. But nonetheless, still love the 6.3 Irids! nice choice.

by the way, your PM is full

Mailbox cleared. I am not sure what the settings are on the EQ. I have not messed with them since I picked up the car last week. I do know that the lows are at 80. I dont even know what the Q factor controls. I will have more time this weekend to mess with it. The 6.3's are great!!

Sweet install as usual. I wish I could do kick panels like that. And everything else like that too.
