I can attest to the sound quality of the install. It put my Infinity speakers replacement, JL10W3 and 4080 to shame Congrats Troy and props to Bing for the install.

I just have one question, how do you keep those amp cool? My son has a Jeep and has one sub box in the back. There is a two channel amp on top of the box. He unzipped the back window and layed it over the sub box. It BURNED the clear window in about an hour.

If you look at the Last picture. Right above the Amp is a Tube/cylinder looking thing, That's a Squirrel blower fan. There's a mesh cut out right above that. I've been looking at a LOT of installs Bing has done.

I had issue with midbass amp shutting off right after I picked up my car but the temp in garage was over 90 and outside was hot as well. I was pumping the bass pretty goood for about 30 minutes. Ever since then I have had no issues with amps shutting off even though these amps do run hot. The fan seems to be doing the trick. I will be poking several holes in the OEM carpet to allow extra airflow out of the mesh vent Bing made. It was an added bonus that Bing did and I am glad he did. He always goes the extra mile on his installs.

OK, I see that fan in this pic:

Venting through the hole in the floor in this pic:

So, how does it cool when you cover the vent hole up as in this pic?:

Is there venting from somewhere else? I ask because these things make a LOT of heat.

That is the only venting, but so far I have not had any issues with overheating. I will poke some holes in the carpet to allow more air to pass through.

Troy Is the single 10" IDMAX enough for adequate bass? I'm thinking of doing 2 IDMAX and using a Zapco iforce 1-1200.1 when it comes out. I'm 50-50 on SQ and SPL.

If I had more cash I would have gone with another IDMAX but im content with the level of bass the single puts out. Another 4080 and IDMAX would have set me back $900 then additional power for it would have been more money. Im pushing the single with 750 watts so it bump pretty good. I thought the 1200.1 was already out.
