Amp and speakers with stock unit

I can slap on an amp and new speakers with the stock unit, correct? I may lose fader, I guess. Is this only possible with the non-Bose unit? Thanks,

Yes you can, that's what I did. You won't lose the fader if you get a 4 channel LOC from the H/U to the amp. I went with the Dave Navone NE-774v. Check it out. www.davidnavone.com
