I'm looking into adding a satellite radio to my 07 sedan and was wandering if the installation of a shark fin on the truck and all wiring would be pretty much the same compared to a factory sirius radio? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in adavance.

 

the shark fin will only clip onto the shark fin antenna which also incorporates the water seal. if you add an aftermaket satellite receiver, which the stiletto is, you'll have to splice the wires. what i mean by that is, cut off actual antenna on the car kit the stiletto comes with. splice on the shark fin antenna, drill your hole in the car and pop on the antenna cover. then you would just have to mount the stiletto accordingly. i also did a DIY for doing the shark fin OEM style for those with OEM satellite tuners. if you have any questions, let me know.
