Need Ur Experts advice Fast Please!!!!!

So i went to the back to turn the bass down a lil bit on my amp and i notice the amp is kinda hot and its a JL 1000/1 amp with 12inch W7 sub is that normal for it to get that hot or somthing is wrong??? if somthing is wrong what could that be need your help please

im no car audio expert, but i would be skeptical of a 1000 watt amp that DID NOT get hot.... that's a lot of juice and a thirsty sub

i mean if you touch and its so hot that you feel it's a fire hazard then there could be something wrong, but im guessing it's probably normal

I wouldnt be worried, all the amps I have used do get warm to hot, depending on their fan quality. They also have auto shutoffs if they get to hot so dont worry about it unless it starts melting itself or other things or starts making smells
