Of all the options given in the 07 sedan, I was kinda mad that none of the options were completely useful....
1. dvd changer cant play mp3.
2. in slot changer can play mp3 but cant play them via a dvd.
3. you can only burn audio to the music box.
4. you can transfer songs only burned through a cd....

etc etc etc..

anyways, for those who have tried and not succeeded....there's one way to get audio burned to your music box while preserving your tags from your mp3 files.

as everyone knows the box is reading cd text(unless the cd your rip is recognized by the cddb). mp3 files contains tags which are lost when you burn an audio cd(hence giving you the track 1 track 2 situation).

you can however burn an audio cd with mp3 files that contain v1 of the tag(instead of v2.3 or v2.4). for those who dont know this, mp3 tags have versions(mainly 1.x or 2.x). files that contain the artist/song info but only have version 2.x of the tag, that information is not transferred to the cd text when you burn an audio cd. version 1.x is! Using Nero you can burn an audio cd and it will carry your song info through to the cd which your g35 music box can then read easily.

and have it still read titles and burn into the music box ?

 

I dont believe so.
It only reads CDs.
