I can't seem to find a good spot to ground my amp... I have an 04 Sedan, anyone here with any good spots????? It is currently on one of the bolts holding the stop sub to the rear deck... Whines like crazy...... Please help...

 

Make sure you are connecting the ground to bare metal with no paint.

Engine whine may indicate other problems.

 

do you have your RCAs running along your power wire?
you can ground you amps pretty much anywhere (gas tank and moving parts are the only no nos) just sand down the area to bare metal, use self tapping screw (cuz it's easier) and I suggest a lock washer and voila amp grounded.
this is grounding amps for dummies version but if you do that and still have engine whine drop me a line I'll go through the install with you
