And you play it loud, something that has a lot of bass, does the car always rattle from the exterior? In other words, is this something you can't avoid from having in a car regardless of the make and model?

I've noticed some cars that are playing loud music but from the outside you can hear all kinds of rattling. Not sure if this is normal with audio systems.

 

if u put a sub in the trunk, the trunk will rattle like crazy, so will the bumper and so will the license plate frame if not properly put together

 

Dynomat, Second Skin, and several other products can be used to dampen body panels which reduces vibration. However, it's a lot of work to completely eliminate it.

 

to answer ur question YES it rattles like crazy...thats for good system on any car out there...but however there are other things u can do to stop it from rattling which is gonna cost u more money and there is no way in hell u can stop it from rattling completely...trust me im speaking from experience...

 

But when you say it rattles, how loud are we talking?

I want to improve the sound system on the G(07) but I don't play music at full blast.

 

If you add more bass it will make more noise on the outside. How much depends on how much you add.
