big 3 question with pics

how are you guys hooking up your big three wires? did you use the second bolt on the right in this pic for the pos to alt wire?

would that still utilize this 120a fuse right next to it?

and how did you run that pos to alt wire, did you cut a new hole through the metal? or cut another hole in that grommet? thanks

What size wire are you using ? Cause I would use the grommet thats shape like a "D" and drill a hole through that. Remember to follow the alternator wire and use wire loom and zip ties to make the installtion looks cleaner. Also attach your wires to the copper side, going the different direction.

i was planning on either 2ga or 0ga. what do you mean by copper side? i think the copper you see in the pics is actually the connector connected to the wire

Is it safe to use that 2nd stud for a power wire for an amp? Looks like that stud is hooked up to the 120A fuse. Will this cause any problems?

Hook up a voltmeter and see if you get battery voltage at that stud. Then you can use it.

if it were me, id use the post on top of the battery for your amp powerwire cause you will likely have a different size fuse that you will want to use. the second stud would be better for the big3 upgrade as it will already be fused, assuming that second bolt flows through that fuse
