Do you guys think the Z3 is best out there right now? I have not decided on my DD. I need a good GPS, bluetooth, iphone connection, would like HD radio and might hook up sirius. I kind of wish the Z3 had a volume ****, any recommendations?

Do you know how hard it is to hack the system so you could drive and play dvd's??

i didn't have stock navi either - the mic comes with the premium package and is for the bluetooth... its located on the roof near the dome light.. my installer mounted the avic mic in the upper left corner where the pillar meets the roof... i mean, its barely noticeable but im picky...

i think the admins here will delete any post that talks about doing the bypass but its real easy.. check out the avic forums

i saw that place too... but resellerratings.com gave them a 1.3 out of 10.. i wouldnt buy from that place...

i would never order from a place like that... in fact broadway photo and prestige are the same company and they have such a horrible rep i would never want to risk it, - even though it would have saved me $200 if its legit... but too many people gave them a bad review:

they are known as a bait-and-switch company... for example, you buy a camera that everybody else sells with the battery - these guys will charge you for it. my guess is if you order the avic-z3 from them, they will call you a day later and tell you if you want the cables and wire harnesses you need to pay an additional $200

Wow i just didnt shop around enough apparently. either way in regard to the mic i had mine installed inside my singlass holder. Since its completly useless anyway why not have the mic sit in there. also inregard to the "hack the system" you need tog round the e brake run a elad from the ground to the z3 and then run the z3 ground abck to the e brake. its not that bad. my buddy who has a isntall shop did mine and it came out perfect.
