Ipod connection?

I have an '03 coupe with the factory Bose stereo system. I presently use my Ipod with one of those thingies that plugs into the cig outlet and plays through an unused frequency on the radio. When I'm in an area with lots of radio stations, I have to keep changing frequencies and the music quality is poor. Since many newer cars have a plug that you can use to run a cable from the headphone port on the Ipod, I was wondering if there is way to hardwire a cable into the radio, so that I could just plug in the Ipod when I cruise? Many thanks for your thoughts.

Bill

You are going to hear this a lot but you should do a search on this. There are a sh!tload of threads. Personally I got the (semi)factory kit from everythingg35.com that plugs into the satellite plug in the trunk. I chose this one because it was the solution that did not require removing the dash to install. There are a couple more aftermarket solutions as well from PAC and USA SPEC. Each one has good and bad points depending on what you ultimately want to achieve and how the ipod is controlled. When you do the search you will find opinions from people that have each kind. You can find the install instructions for the semi-factory kit in the item description on everythingg35.com. Good luck.
