Sat Sirius Tuner Question

Does anyone know if the stock Sirius Tuner (model # EN-1187E) is the same as the Clarions SIRCL1 model. Grubbs sells the Sat tuner for 299.99, but I seen the clarion SIRCL1 tuner for around $70.00 on ebay. Looks the same to me.....

Does anyone have an aftermarket sat tuner that works with stock pre-wired setup?

Re: Sat Sirius Tuner Question

Well, the pictures of the SIRCL1 show a DIN connector. The G has a rectangular connector.

So they're clearly different. Don't know if it's possible to take the pin assignments and make an adapter cable and have it work, though.

Re: Sat Sirius Tuner Question

Just sent an email to http://www.pie.net

They make several differant types of digital auxilary input converters which might just work. They make something to work for other car models, but didnt find anything for nissan/infiniti. If someone wants to check out the site and see if they find it, please update me, im going nutz. I will post the results from the email.

Any response from www.pie.net or resolution to this question? How about the newer SIRCL2?

I've been looking into this all day and the best deal is at Grubbs in Dallas, the Tuner is $219 and $10 to ship... BestBuy has all parts and the antennae and will do for and extra $20 for parts, $44.00 for labor and warranty the install.

This is the exact same one that came prewired in my car.

Check out crutchfield, the price is dramatically different. If the car is prewired, this is all you will need.

Can anyone else confirm this? My 04 has only 1 rectangular connector as well. Anyone have a pic of the oem unit? It's cheaper here

If this unit is the same then there would be no need for the PAC AAI-NIS unit.
