Double Din Trim Plate - With JDM Kit or with Receiver?

Hi Guys

I've recently installed an AVIC-F900BT with the JDM double din trim kit.

Neither package included a trim ring, which now leaves me with a little bit of a gap around the unit.

Is there a double din trim I can buy or did you guys fabricate one?

Thanks.

RiCeBrNr,

We actually have the same setup and both have the same issue. Unfortunately i've been looking this ever since i installed the my new HU (F900BT) and I have not been able to find a solution. I know the DD Kit by Metra (Turbo 2) allows the F900BT to have a perfect fit and its about $120 cheaper "but" the ac control looks cheesy/cheap.
What i did to cover up mine was using a foam sheet from a computer motherboard i had purchased, i inserted strips of the foam sheet on the gaps to cover it. It is not the best looking solution but definately beats the gap we were left with after installing the JDM DD Kit and the new HU.
I'll try taking a pic and posting it so you can see waht i'm talking about.

Thanks so much for the reply. I think you posted in one of my threads on avic411 as well.

I suppose the best we can do is fabricate something unless someone here has a solution.

Probably,

I had started my own thread about a week ago (regarding the same issue) nobody provide a solid solution to mine so i'm guessing is not going to be an easy plug/play solution
