Yeah, Kidd, the guys at soundsgreat there in hoover think everyone is stupid and dont know anything about car audio. They are just trying to sell their product. There arent really any good places in B'ham to get installs done or info for that matter. Tweeter used to be good, but they are no longer there.

got the 10w6v2, got a JL 500/1, and now im building a custom box for my trunk... ill post pics when done.

started with the cutting today... its been going kinda slow, havnt had much time to work on it. i got my shape for the box (kinda odd shaped, similar to trapezoid/rhombus)... then im going to do a front plate-like thing going across the whole front of the box and across my trunk. im excited about it (its going to be very similar to the zenclosure boxes on ebay)... still got a good bit or work left to do. so far just have all wood cut out. ill keep you guys updated.

 

all you need is 2 JL W3's w/ a 500/1 amp

 

Single W6 > 2 W3's...output wise, low end, and quality.
