Mounting depth is the stat you need to know... From looking I think they will fit, if not, a spacer can be made since there is plenty of room in the front.

Yeah - depth should be your main concern. I have some Alpine 176A components. I don't remember the depth, but look it up and if they are the same depth or not as deep, you should be ok.
I want to say mine are 2-3/4" deep, but you should double-check at alpine-usa.com. I didn't see any depth posted on the website you posted, but they don't look that deep from the picture.
Good luck.

yep those will fit...i have them in my car and they sound awesome...at first they sound a little funny but after a little breakin in you'll be amazed how good these sound especially for the price, they sound very clear and have very good midbass...these are by far the best components in this price range

Re: Will these components fit?

i noticed that the tweeters on the CDT CL61a are 3/4". Does that matter since our factory is 1"? How about the CDT Audio EF-61CF seems like a good deal for 50$ more.

Re: Will these components fit?

Honestly, I'm not sure about these EF components considering their pretty new, but I have no doubt they're just as good if not better, mostly likely better considering it has better power handling (90w rms vs 120w rms), supposively better cone material and a reworked crossover.

Btw I have the CDT 19mm (3/4") tweeters in my car and they fit perfectly right behind the factory tweeter grills

Re: Will these components fit?

Ok, got a quick question:

The EF's are rated at at 120w rms so what if the amp I am getting is 125w rms? will that be too powerful? Or can I go with something like 75-80w rms and still have them sound good?

Re: Will these components fit?

125wpc should be fine. You could probably go 150 and still be safe. As long as the signal is clean, more power is usually better. It also depends what voltage the amp is rated at, 125wpc @ 12.5v will put out a lot more power than 125wpc @ 14.4v...
