Re: Factory Radio( Non Bose)

it's ok. the sound quality is average and worsens as you increase the volume. i've been given a g35 sedan with the bose system as a loaner and it's a little better. personally, it doesn't matter much to me because i usually don't turn the music on when i'm driving cuz i want to hear my baby roar : )

but, you might as well get it since it's included with the premium package which i think is pretty cool with the sunroof, dual climate control, etc.

Re: Factory Radio( Non Bose)

my very first car had an aftermarket stereo. after that, i used whatever came with car.

stock is 160 watt. to me, it beats the stock that was in my truck, honda, saturn, sentra, etc... but, i am not an audiophile.

i ordered sunroof only, not premium package. i am satisfied.

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

Generally speaking, the bose system adds bass. If you care about sound quality you'll get much better results for far less money by adding an Infinity Basslink in the trunk. In my case I wanted Navi so I didn't have a choice but to get Bose.

Re: Factory Radio( Non Bose)

I would consider the base stereo slightly better than ones found in other cars but it's nothing special.

Are you planning to upgrade? I purposely bought my G without the Bose, and redid the whole system (minus h/u) shortly after. When I had my 350z it had the Bose and it was decent. Just good enough that I didn't feel the need to upgrade, but I was far from happy with it. (This was an 04 model with the fixed system if anyone knows what I'm talking about).
