Infinity Kappa 62.9i or Reference 6020cs- good stock replacement?

I am thinking about replacing my front speakers on my Bose 03. Would these be a good replacement? any other suggestions?

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_108629I...9i.html?tp=105

I did some searching and someone mentioned these were better

Infinity Reference 6020cs

Will I notice a difference in volume/quality with such an upgrade? I know an amp an HU would give me a huge improvement but I just want something a bit better then stock.

Since i did used the "search" button. this guy pretty much have the same question. I'm looking for a answer.

Well i spoke to a guy from Crutchfield. and he said to go with infinity kappa 62.9i & not the Infinity Kappa 60.7cs for replacement door speakers.

Well currently i have Bose HU.

but I'm upgrading to a Pioneer Avh P4000dvd double din. Will be running this off of the Bose Amp.

Can i still use the infinity kappa 62.9i door speakers the guy from Crutchfield recommend?

I dont know why he said not to use the 60.7's i am using them right now and i love them. The crossover was a pain to install but other than that it worked fine. You will need spacers though. BTW I recall someone doing an install thread of the 6020's that he had to drill into his door panel since the tweeters wont fit in that stock tweeter location by the window. The 60.7's will fit in there I am still using the bose HU and AMP so i dont know about using another HU though.

I am thinking about getting 6020cs. How much does usually front audio swap cost?

Do some more searching about the Amp. You might want to replace it since it seems to be the weak link in the Bose chain. There's a sticky about keeping the Bose HU and upgrading everything else. I know you want the Pioneer so it's not entirely relevant, but it talks about the problems with the stock amp.

Then he is stupid. Why would he tell you to replace component speakers with a 2 way speaker? Maybe because crutchfield doesn't carry the 60.7cs anymore.

60.7CS is the way to go for the doors. 2ohm so they are perfect for the bose and the tweets are drop in replacements for the stock tweets
