I recently purchased an '04 G35 coupe and I LOVE IT!!!!! Its a great car. Unfortunately I am a car newbie to say the least and don't know much about upgrading or replacing certain things in the car. I have the factory navigation system, but to be honest, I wish i didn't. I hate that joystick thing and everything takes forever using it. It would be so much better if it were a touch screen. So I was thinking, what if I could replace/upgrade the factory navigation system and screen to a more modern one.

I've been to some electronic stores and have been blown away by some of their GPS systems. I've seen some that can work your phone and play music as well as give directions. And the best part is.....they're all touch screen!

I was hoping someone here could give me some direction on somehow replacing my stock nav screen and system with a new, better touch screen version that could possibly work my radio as well (phone would be a plus too, but not that pressed). I also would like to add a back up camera (parking at night in the dark with tinted windows is not all that its cracked up to be, lol) and be able to play movies if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If there is only advice on just switching the screen to touch screen, i'll take it. Like I said, that joystick is CRAP!!!!

theres no aftermarket screen that just fits in the stock location, you need to get a double din finisher, a/c controls and a bracket. do some searching.
