Post pics of your double din setup
This is my non DVD receiver. Didn't want to get DVD receiver in fear of car getting broken into. Wanted something not too showy but still lots of features Bluetooth hands free calling, Siri integration for iPhones and a USB port in the front. This radio takes care of that and more. I'm running the metro dash kit. Didn't do enough research and found out about the Jdm one after, but hey crutchfield offers 50% off with purchase of radio and I had a 25 dollar off coupon. So I got the metra dash kit for 75 bucks brand new I think that was a good deal.
As for not getting broken into, here's what I did to prevent that:
Outside looking in:

Without the glass so you can see it better:

And under that false face, the real radio:

But a good benefit of a radio like yours is that it's really easy to use eyes-free, since everything is a big, chunky button instead of a screen that you need to look at.
It's the factory trim, I just glued all the buttons into place from behind, cutting anything that stuck out more than 1/8" or so. Then I ran some black felt on the back to prevent any scratches and made some little pegs to sit on the edge of the radio to keep it in the right spot.

Axxess doesn't require that you solder in any resistors, and auto-programs for most car/headunit combos.
Also like I said I am not even sure why my stereo and ac controls are not working but just by looking at the forum I can say its because of the stereo problem . Do you think I should go to dealership and have them checked?
Oh okay . Thanks. I saw your video about programming the PAC - swi , nice vid. Keep posting em. Also m from Canada and its freaking costly here to get something done in imports. I went to a local shop and asked how much it will cost to install , he's said 350$ for labor only. So obviously m going to do it by myself. I have never done something like this before. I just hope it won't be that hard.
Would that conversion kit work for a 2007 g35 sedan
No. Different climate controls, among other things. I had one guy report that the 2007+ g35 sedans wouldn't work at all without the factory headunit, since it's tied into too many other things.
