How do I pause the CD player?

How do I pause the CD player?
I wanted to know if some could tell me how to pause a CD in my 2008 G-35S Premium outfitted vehicle...I can't seem to figure this out. Am I suppose to turn of the power? This seems very basic, why isn't there a PAUSE button/option?
