Only 2 Custom Box Options. Right?

So... not getting into plexiglass / resin custom no trunk having $4000 dollar designs. I basically have come across two types of boxes for my coupe.

So this style fits along the back of the trunk blocking the folding seats

with this style I would have both left and right... this design is functionally better for trunk usage
However, My question is which version do you think would SOUND better? both boxes would have 2 10" subwoofers... (whatever brand).

What do you all have? have you tried both styles and figured you like one better than the other.

I had both styles. The airspace in box 1 (zenclosure style) doesn't give you enough airspace for 2 10s, so it won't be efficient with the really low frequencies.

The side mounted boxes (most popular is the 4080 box) has enough airspace for a good 10" but it is more expensive.

ok i dont know how much those boxes are but the the most popular box for our car is the 4080 box its a lil costy and it only fits one sub but it is really strong. i have it and i love it. check out the link below and do a search on the forum 4080 you will find that many of the members have one 10 sub in the G and they are happy.

your next option and there are only a couple members with this box is the TC Customs box. search for it on the forum and here is a link to the web site dont forget to add $50 for paint.

if i had a chance to start all over i would go with the 4080 box again 1 good sub sounds great in the G.

I have the 1st one you put up, the Zenclosure, with 2 JL W6V2's in it. I think it looks real clean, as if it came like that from the factory, and sounds great.

i would shop around your local car audio shops. the 4080 is retardedly overpriced and the zenclosure doesn't have the right amount of space... and a generic takes up to much room.
that or get inventive yourself.
