I know there are a ton of threads out there but many of them say contradictory things.

I want an ipod adapter that:

1. Utilizes the steering wheel controls
2. Displays song ect on HU
3. Allows you to utilize both the cars controls and the actual ipod.

Like i said i am encountering contradictory information and i hope you can help me clear it up. I am looking at the

PAC AAI-NIS2
USA Spec pa11-nis2

Which of these would be best for what i want?

 

USA Spec pa11-nis2

does 1 and 3.

but personally i dont need #2. i mount my ipod in front of the HU, since the ipod looks better anyways.

 

PAC = #3 only (cheapest)
USA Spec = #1 and #3 (can't use Sat radio)
Factory Nissan Kit = #1, 2 and 3 (most expensive and hardest to install, weird HU control setup)

this is a VERY common question around here - and i recently had it too a month or so ago when i was looking for a way to connect my iPod/iPhone to my 07 Coupe.

there are 3 main solutions:

1. PAC (AAI-NIS2)
2. USA Spec (PAII-NIS)
3. Nissan iPod Interface Kit

each have their distinct pros/cons, features and price - you'll have to do the research and decide which works best for you.

Ive had the USA spec in 2 of my cars, including the coupe, and i am very happy with it. The only thing i would want is to be able to see the song display on the radio.
