hey i hate to bump this thread..

i just got my f900bt installed, and I'm definately missing the steering wheel controls, but do you guys get any static when the volume is completely off and NOTHING is playing? it's kinda annoying, let me know.

also yeah it looks sick, the whole setup costs just a little too much imo but it's worth it in the end

please respond soon !

I had some static when playing iPod because I had the iPod cable going alongside the power cable. Re-arranging wires fixed it. The rest of the radio sounded fine.

There have been occurances with the Bose system having noise with an aftermarket HU, but it's not consistent enough to blame the Bose 100% of the time.

Nice.! Your trunk is much cleaner than mine! Gotta clean out my trunk one day.

My amp fell off couple of weeks ago. All the screws just came loose. How did u mount the amp? I used regular screws to mount the amp, which was a fail. Im thinking about getting screws with a washer and bolt that goes on the end. I think this way would hold the amp.

I used machine bolts with large washers on mine. I used large rubber washers under large metal washers to keep the vibration from shaking them loose as well.
