Pioneer Avic F900bt

Well about 2 weeks ago i installed the Hu. It works great besides the start up is a bit long just like everyone complained about but i could deal with it. I used the jdm dd just because it looks cleaner and i went to home depot spent 3 bucks for window sealer (foam) and it did the trick for the gap under the radio. The last 2 pictures are the navi in 2d and 3d

I'm looking into getting that same unit, was the slow start-up your only complaint?
I've seen that they have the 2.0 update to help that, do you have that installed too?
Does the headunit stick out very much or is it flush with the dash?

Sorry about all the questions, just doin some research before I buy lol.
Looks great!

Well the radio it self sits flush just the screen pops out a bit I would say about 1/4 inch. Doesn't bother me but at all I'm very happy with the radio. Also I went to a shop and they told me how to bypass the navi so once I do and it works I'll post a write up. I'll take a picture for you of the screen. Yea I have the update on it. Well if you listen to CDs it starts to play quick and it takes about 15sec to load up which isn't that bad considering it has lots of opts and built it navi instead of a cd

Yea I'd like to see a closer pic of the screen if ya don't mind.
What about using an sd card to play music, have you used that yet?
I'm thinking I would end up getting like an 8gig card to play music (ipod is currently broken..)

ill get a pic up asap i did try it. I loaded over 60 songs and it feels like it takes about a min to load the card but it works. Also videos work to but the voices come up faster then the lips move it felt like slow motion with quicker voices

no I don't use the ipod correct me if im wrong but I don't think you could hook up the steering wheel controls. I know that there's a place to put in remote control so if there's something that will enable it I want to know

yea i believe it's possible to use your steering wheel controls, theres a module on crutchfield that you can use for like $75 that uses the remote plug-in your talking about.. ill see if i can find it again.
