I just got the OEM XM for Christmas. Where does it mount?

I am not sure where this gets mounted. I am sure I could figure it out, but I figured I would save myself some pointless disassembly of my car and just ask first. I have an XM box and a 3-4 foot long cable. And I don't have a clue at this point. I thought it went in the trunk, does it???

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If someone knows of a DIY thread on this please send a link. I looked but didn't see anything.

i actually connected mine in the back, and put the brain behind the back seat. it was much easier to do this than removing the radio. i then ran the cable into the center console. the route i took was under the capet, above the rear driveshaft hump.

chobble19 is selling one. from what ive heard. you just slap it under the headliner and it works great.

i would assume, anywhere inside the car. but obviously, better quality near a window.

OK, this kit has NO antenna. I took the antenna from my portable unit and tried it but it would not plug in. Do I have to get some kinda Nissan specific Antenna, OR would bestBuy sell one that would work????
