There is power going into the homelink mirror, as a lot of us use the homelink mirror as a power source for our radar detectors. The buttons aren't lit, but there is a green or red indicator for the auto-dim.

Radar isn't illegal in BC or other provinces and states I tour during the summer months. I have a 9500i hard wired to my CBR. I was planning to use a power source on the G when I drive the G. Is there a simpler method using the "homelink mirror"? I'm still very much a novice with this vehicle b/c she's parked till the snow evaporates. I'm reading the owner's manual and attempting to get knowledgeable about the G Sedan. It seems simple to just plug the radar into the lighter. However any cleaner installs will be appreciated. Cheers

It might look a bit complicated, but the hardest part of this install was bolting up the mount for the radar detector.
