Yet another question on Double Din Units

OK so i can not seem to find a black JDM double din unit for the 2004 sedan.

Will a JDM finished with some flat or satin black match the interior? will it look decent? or should i just get the Metra Kit in Black and deal with rubber buttons. I got a price from Yoshi, and he wants over 400 for black JDM i am not paying that much for it. Anyways, please help me out here, i want to start ordering my parts before the mod bug venom goes away.

I say go with the JDM DD trim. I've seen the Metra kit in person and it doesn't look/feel as good. Btw what color is your interior?

My interior is Black. I just ordered the JDM kit from a member here but it is willow/tan. I guess i will be doing some color matching.

Option one.

Wash down the JDM DD
Rub it with alcohol, or paint thinner.
1-2 coats of primer
2-3 coats of SEM paint/vinyl
Clear coat

Do this sound like good steps or should i also sand the Trim. I think it is rough enough already.

Option 2.

Get a clock bezel and cubby on willow and have a black/willow interior.
I guess i will play with photoshop for a little and see what happens.

Go with Option 1. I also have a black interior and I think all black would look much better than black/willow.

Option 3
Color match the dash and all that with the exterior of the car!
