Need help with aftermarket alarm/remote starter

If anybody on here does installs for systems like this I could really use some help.

I had a Clifford Matrix 3.5X installed on my G a few years ago. The remote died so I got a replacement, a Viper 479V.

It was working great until recently. I tried to start the car remotely one day and it died, then I tried to start it manually and the lights would flicker and the starter solenoid would click rapidly, turned out it was a bad battery but I thought it was the Clifford so I hit the valet button 10 times to reset it.

I have since replaced the battery and the car runs fine but the remote is no longer working. I looked online and did what everybody says to do:

1. Put key in, turn to on
2. Hit the valet button 9 or 10 times and hold till the car beeps
3. Press the lock button on the remote, car beeps
4. Release valet button
5. Turn off car

And the remote should work. And this is what they did when I replaced the original fob with this one. I did that but the lock/arm button didn't work, so I tried it again and again then I started pressing all the buttons now the remote won't work at all except the lock/arm button will remote start if pressed twice but it won't lock the car. Trunk button, unlock, none of it works.

I disconnected the battery for 2 weeks in the hopes of wiping out whatever is in the systems memory. I tried it again yesterday and nothing. I need to take it to an audio shop but I haven't had time.

Does anyone have a clue on this? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Oh and I did try calling Directed Electronics but they've put me on hold for over 30 minutes and I can't stay on the phone with them all day at work.

Thanks a million TroysG. That took all of 10 seconds! I was apparently programming it to Channel 9. I cleared all the transmitters and programmed it and now it works like a charm. Thanks for the help!
