There is a line level that you can simply tap from the bose amp module to the power bose amp in back--no line converter needed. which one is listed in the factory service manual. Adding a sub makes a huge difference to the Bose system.

no disrespect.. i value ur respons.. but honestly.. i have no idea what u just said..

im not trying to replace anything. i want to keep my oem speakers including the oem sub in the back.. i can just hook up the 2 subs and another amp TO the oem headunit. is that possible??

so i DONT need a converter??

PDubz here's what you will need

1.4 gauge power wire
2.4 gauge ground wire
3.20 gauge remote wire
4.fuse holder and some 60-80amp fuses

Also PM Iron-Mike becuase he has a full plug and play harness that will save you the hassle of cuttin into your OEM harness.

The OEM doesn't have outputs. If you need a hand PM me. I'll give you my cell and try and walk you through it.

Sticky on adding a sub to Bose system. not exactly for your car but gives you a clear idea of what to do

there's a wide range. since you're just doing subs you can use a fairly cheap one. the money would wasted on the higher end guys. I don't think you'd have to spend any more than 50 bucks on one - still at 50 you're going to get a pretty decent one
