Install this week where to route power wire

Okay I am starting my install this week. I would rather not drill a hole through the fire wall. Is there a spot in the fire wall that I can run the wire through that already exists? If so where is it? I have seen the write up for adding an after market sub and amp, but it does not say what year the car is. Mine is an 05, and I do not know if the spot to run the power wire through the fire wall is in the same spot on all.

If it was me, I'd just search for a grommet that isn't full of wires already. My guess would be MAYBE get it through the grommet of the main harness depending on AWG of wire. I'm doing mine soon so I'll be paying attention to this thread for the right answer.

There should be a grommet right behind the battery. Make a new hole, run your wire through, and seal it up with silicone.

you will have to cut the rubber to make any wire fit

I have two runs of 4 ga running though and still have room

For added safety and to be sure no water comes though, you can "seal" it with silicone

Well this is a pain in the a$$. I have been at it since 11am and I am not done yet. Speaker wire ran to all doors, power wire ran for amps, speaker wire ran to the trunk (except for passenger rear). Getting the molex out of the drivers front was easy, but putting that bastard back in, jesus freaking christ; it only took about 2 hrs, that SOB did not want to go back in. Passenger front was not near as bad as the drivers, rear doors were much easier though. The Bose stereo is out, sad to say the F90BT is not in as of yet. Hoping tomorrow I can get this done. I am taking my time to get done in good working order. I bought 70ft of speaker wire though, 12 gauge. Should be enough for all 4 doors and a sub. Pick up the box on tuesday.
