actually, i don't plan on running a DVD player...

i really just want to use the OEM monitor to use the reverse camera.......

i think i have made some progress today, the camera does turn on... BUT... really hard to tell, coz i am not sending any signal into the video input....

how do i check if i am hooking the wires correctly? which wires should i connect to send the video signals in?? let's say if i hook up a home DVD unit, then connect the RGB wires to it, would it work??
which wires do i need to connect? i can see i need to connect the RGB, the ground, and the pink for synch signal?? what is a synch signal??

thanks

Wish I could help man but chances are with that you will have to do some guessing.
put fuses on the wires just in case.
