Double DIN kit for the '05 models

Anyone know if the JDM Skyline will be sharing in the dash changes slated for the '05 model year. i.e. Will the double DIN dash be available in the wood and aluminum finishes? I am thinking of waiting for an '05 to purchase but this would be a big determining factor.

i kinda wished i had waited for the 05 when i bought my car... but then i realized "hey.... i woulda had to wait 6 months to enjoy this damn thing and 15hp, gauge cluster and wheels (im getting new volks ANYWAYS) arent big enough reasons for me to wait that long. Besides.... by the time the 2005's come out... i will have added 15 hp to the crank and probably have lighter 19's on my g so mine will be faster anyways. The only thing i really would like is the new gauges, but i kinda wanna get those blue led's put in mine now... so if i got a blue dash, it wouldnt really matter that i had old style gauges cause they would still be different than stock.

2004 Black on Black g coupe 6spd.... <3 aluminum pedals, clear corners, z tube, and pop charger. From down south, houston tejas

Re: Double DIN kit for the '05 models

you could email Yosi at J's Garage and see if Nissan Japan is changing their v35's interior to include wood and metal trim. If so, you should be able to do the doubleDIN conversion on the '05 G35s with wood or "titanium" metal trim.

I don't know though....if NIssan Japan doesn't change the v35's interior, switching a US G35's dash to doubleDIN will not be possible unless you use what's available presently which is the plastic doubleDIn dash. But, the '05's metal trim or wood will not match with the plastic trim.
