Audio problems in 2004 G35x.
Update - The random fading is back but only slightly on my CD player. Turning off the SCV definitely helps minimize the problem but not doesn't eliminate the problem entirely (in my case).
I just installed the ipod integration kit that plays thru the SAT function and so far it plays back perfect. No fading or balancing issues (just came back from a test drive). So, in my case, the CD player was the only function that experienced the balance/fading issue and all other functions play just fine.
Moral of this story - F*CK Bose and Clarion. Apple wins this battle.

I'll have to try this. Just bought a 04 Sedan w/Bose and I noticed that the left tweeter cut out while playing CD's (works with radio, wtf???)
Anyways thanks for the tip. Love the car btw but was sad to see the bose system in there when I got it. Sure enough I would have a problem with it the first day.
Bose car stuff is garbage, I would rather have some Denso stuff in there, at least I wouldn't have a PITA time ripping out odd shaped HU's and junky amps. Check this out for an interesting read.
