Look at my pics...sub just arrived...need wiring help. THANKS!

Basically I have (1) Amp hooked up to this Alpine Type R sub...being that I have little knowledge on wiring, I don't want to mis-wire anything. I have a positive and negative twisted together and then (1) positive and (1) negative that split, I think...look at pics....and where do they go into the sub....thanks, sorry for being kind of vague...

Those are some BLURRY pics!

It looks like you have a dual voice coil sub? If so, you'll need to either series or parallel the coils together. . .I guess there's other options, but you should really list all the stats of what amp you're using, what channels you're using, etc before you get any more specific help. . .

Did you buy the dual 4 or the dual 2 ohm sub?

Just got it wired up, sounds good and hits good...I figure I have the wiring correct because I tried numerous combos...didn't work, did work and, finally I got it to sound clean.

DUAL 2 OHM

The sub comes with a diagram of different wiring configurations to give you an idea of what the impedance will be so you don't fry your amp.
